The villa was well-furnished, with a wonderful wood burner and a generous supply of wood and kindling. The kitchen was equipped with all necessary appliances, making it convenient for cooking. the bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. I also appreciated the good WiFi connection, allowing me to stay connected during my stay. I had a fantastic time at Surprise View Villa and would definitely return.

The general cleanliness of the provided kitchenware and utensils could be improved, especially since there was no dishwasher. the TV in the room was old and very small, which was disappointing.

Always stay at my favorite place in Holmrook. Staff helped me find good exchange rates. Perfect for me with free parking, pets allowed, and no smoking. Can't wait to come back for another trip.

What an absolutely amazing stay! This place is super cosy and comfortable, with the most jaw-dropping views ever! It's perfectly located for exploring the South Western fells and the local walks are mind-blowing. The owners are incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. The well-furnished cabin had everything we needed, including all necessary kitchen equipment, a comfortable bed, and a wonderful wood burner with a generous supply of wood and kindling. Plus, the WiFi was great! We were a bit worried about the toilet/shower block being right outside the bedroom window, but there was no disturbance at all. And the fact that this place allows pets is just fantastic! We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to everyone. Free parking and no smoking on site were also great bonuses. our stay was nothing short of incredible!

Surprise View offers a fully equipped kitchen where I could channel my inner Gordon Ramsay and whip up some culinary masterpieces. With all the necessary utensils at my disposal, it felt like I was on a cooking show.minus the pressure and judges.
